Bunbary Boards
Bunbury Boards are beautifully crafted wooden chopping & cheese boards, each with their own individual style, crafted by the Lisnavagh Timber Project Ltd in County Carlow, Ireland. You’ll find Bunbury Boards in a variety of retail outlets and restaurants, and they also make ideal wedding and anniversary gifts. For Irish people living abroad, in the US, UK, Canada etc. they’re an ideal way to keep a little piece of Ireland with them.
Each board is made with love and care in our workshop on the Lisnavagh Estate, using wood from trees grown on the estate and elsewhere on the island of Ireland. We can add an engraving of your choice to your board, whether it’s the name of a restaurant, a shop or loved ones celebrating a landmark occasion. Our engravings will give your chopping board a unique stamp.
Lisnavagh has belonged to the Bunbury family for hundreds of years. William Bunbury began the Lisnavagh Timber Project in 2001 as a way to keep the heritage of the Lisnavagh Estate alive for future generations. In 2008, Bunbury Boards grew out of the Lisnavagh Timber Project, as a sustainably sourced product that could be produced on a sizeable scale and marketed worldwide.
