Creating Images is my passion and has been for as long as I can remember. From Art as a kid in school to Film & Media Studies in College, Visual mediums have been a constant obsession of mine.
After moving back to Sligo from Dublin a few years ago, I began studying Photography. I felt compelled to explore Sligo but this time capture my adventures. That is where photography really started for me and My Sligo was my first photographic project, one that wont end as long as I am living in this beautiful county.
Photographing Landscape wasn’t enough for me, the need to tell a stories using images led me to shooting events, weddings, people, travels & pretty much anything that interested me. I was the Sony Ireland ‘Week in Images’ 2012 winner & as part of the prize received a trip to the Sony World Photography Awards in London. At the Awards I met some of the greatest living photographers & seen some of the greatest images being produced today. The experience of a weekend spent around some of the best of the best was intimidating at first but helped shape how I think about photography & inspired me to continue on my mission of becoming a Professional Photographer.
